Unit4 are finalists in the 2022 Acquia Engage Awards!

We’re delighted to report that we’ve been named finalists in the 2022 Acquia Engage Awards as a Leader of the Pack in Technology. At Unit4 we’re committed to creating amazing people experiences for our customers, and we feel that ambition should be reflected in everything we do – including in the digital experience we’ve created for users of our website.

Every year, Acquia hosts the Engage Awards to celebrate the best work that’s being done with their products. The annual celebration showcases organizations that have gone above and beyond to create the world’s most ambitious digital projects.

This year’s Engage Awards drew a record number of submissions, with over 120 entries, spanning a variety of industries and regions. Contenders submit entries for a specific award in one of three categories – Dreamers, Builders, and Doers.

A panel of distinguished judges with trusted expertise in DXP and digital marketing carefully reviews every Engage Award submission, evaluating them across 4 criteria: on functionality, integration, performance, and overall user experience. The judges select just three finalists per category.

Mike Sullivan, President and CEO of Acquia, explains: “Every year, we see higher levels of innovation, creativity, and dedication in Engage Awards submissions. Our 2022 finalists are truly our most outstanding yet. Being named a finalist is an incredible accomplishment, and every organization represented on the list is truly among the very best at what they do.”

Our submission told the story of our recent rebuild of the Unit4 website on Site Studio. Says our Digital Infrastructure Architect Nicholaus Lamming, “This project enabled us to, among other things, embrace a low-code/no-code approach to web page builds, allowing our web editors to create engaging and feature rich web content with little to no development input.”

This is just one of many benefits that we have embraced as we continue our journey with Acquia. We’re proud of everyone who contributed to this project for their hard work and accomplishments. Being named an Engage Awards finalist is welcomed recognition. While we can’t predict whether we’ll make the winners’ list or not, we can say that we’re very happy to have been nominated.
