Unit4 Announces Participation at EDUCAUSE Annual Conference

October 1, 2019

Unit4, a cloud leader in people-based ERP, will be attending the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference taking place October 14-17, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois. Bringing together the leading innovators in higher education technology to discuss new solutions and trending topics within the industry, EDUCAUSE delegates will attend panels and discussion sessions focused on how technology can empower organizations to deliver on growth, student success, and institutional excellence.

Unit4 will gear up for the conference by hosting a half-day Industry Event on Monday, October 14th, bringing together stakeholders and experts to provide a complete view of digital transformation trends in higher education now and what exciting opportunities to expect in the future. Setting the stage will be Mike Ettling, Unit4’s CEO; Kurt Weideling CIO of Manchester Metropolitan University; Casey Green, founder of the Campus Computing Project, the largest continuing study of eLearning and information technology in American colleges and universities, and many more. Additionally, Chicago-based nonprofit, One Million Degrees, will be giving a presentation on student success and how the organization delivers groundbreaking programs to empower low-income community college students through tutoring and mentorships.

As proud partners of EDUCAUSE for over six years, we are excited to showcase to delegates how higher education technology can empower institutions to focus less on administration and more on education.

They will also host an expert panel on Wednesday, October 16th titled, “Boring back-office transformation: the trickle-down effect on student experience.” The session aims to tackle the needs arising at the intersection of rising student expectations, technological innovations, and changing regulatory environments; focusing further on institutions’ imperative need for seamless experiences, accurate data and demonstrating results to grow and succeed. Unit4’s Product Director of Higher Education, Austin Laird, will be joined by Keith Fowlkes, vice president Technology Contracts at E&I Cooperative Services Inc; Vaugh Ravenscroft, CIO of Bow Valley College; and Linda Feng, Software Architect at Unicon, to discuss how back-office upgrades of enterprise and student systems can have a significant effect on transforming the student experience.

The Unit4 Industry Event will take place from 1 PM to 6:30 PM CST at 19 E 21st Street. Space is limited so register here to attend.
